  • Each region has its own leaderboard on which players collect points.
  • Points are rewarded for tournament placements:

  • Top 2 players of each region qualify for the finals.
  • There will be 2 direct qualifiers to the finals, including The Reset #9.
  • If a player qualifies on multiple leaderboards: The leaderboard placement with the highest points counts and the leftover spots on the other leaderboards are distributed to the next placements.
  • If a player qualified through a direct qualifier cannot attend the season final: The spot goes to the next placement from the respective tournament.
  • If a player qualifies through a direct qualifer as well as a region leaderboard: The direct qualifier takes priority and the leftover spots are distributed to the next placements.

Rules

  • All tournaments are held in a double elimination style bracket.
  • The controller may not send simultaneous opposite cardinal directions (SOCD) game inputs. SOCD inputs include Left+Right and Up+Down. This is typically enforced by adding “cleaning” firmware to the controller which removes one of the inputs before passing to the game. “Stock” gamepads (e.g. the Playstation DUALSHOCK®4) are explicitly exempt from this rule.
  • Coaching: Max. 1 Coach per set, max. 1 minute between matches. Violating this rule may result in a warning and if violated again in a disqualification.
  • Contestants may request a blind pick prior to match start.
  • Contestants may play "rock paper scissor" to decide which side to play on.
  • Character switch only allowed after a loss.
  • There is a 2 week lead time for new characters.

Street Fighter 6

  • Classic and modern control schemes are allowed.

Tekken 8

  • Every match is played on random stage, no stage select.
